Yavapai County Development Services is seeking a Permit Technician to support permitting operations and provide exceptional customer service to the public, contractors, and internal staff as part of our team.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal customers and the public.
We are accepting applications for a Permit Technician I or a Permit Technician II position, contingent upon the qualifications and skill sets of eligible applicants.

Hiring salary range for Permit Technician I is $19.21 to $24.49 per hour
Hiring salary range for Permit Technician II is $21.18 to $27.00 per hour

Major Duties, Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
Permit Technician I requires a minimum of one (1) year of general office experience.
Permit Technician II requires a minimum of two (2) years of general office experience.

Additional Requirements:
Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
Permit Technician I must obtain ICC certification within one (1) year of hire.
Permit Technician II m ust possess ICC Certification as Permit Technician at time of hire.
