Location: 1800 Prospect
Salary: $19.27-$28.01 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, Friday-Monday, or Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

What you'll do

• Install and replace wastewater sewer cuts, lay new lines to grade, and reconnect sewer lines.
• Restore work sites, including backfilling excavations, dirt work restoration, seeding or sodding, setup of erosion control measures, concrete placement and finishing, tear down and replacement of fences, and replacement of landscaping or other structures located on the worksite property while utilizing proper techniques to minimize damage to existing utilities.
• Participate in the construction of shoring devices to be utilized in excavations.
• Participate in traffic control setup in work zones and participate in snow removal activities.

REQUIRES:

• High school graduation OR 6 months of experience in general labor.
• Must possess a valid State-issued driver's license in accordance with the City of KCMO policies.
• May be required to possess a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Class A, B or C issued by the State of Missouri prior to the end of the employee's probationary period (appropriate CDL will be determined by department.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer physical examination as prescribed by the City.
