Position Description
Inspects work for conformance to standard trade practices. Repairs, installs, and maintains HVAC systems, machinery, and equipment. May directly supervise HVAC mechanics. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Major/Essential Functions


Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Six years of heating and air-conditioning experience. May be required to maintain registrations, professional licenses and/or certifications from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (or other state) to perform the duties of the position. Must be willing to pursue additional certifications if necessary.

In accordance with Texas Executive Order GA-48 and applicable state or federal law, this position may involve access to, work on, or conduct research involving critical infrastructure. It will require background checks, including, but not limited to, criminal history and other security-related screenings. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of these checks.
