Position Description
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Nursing is dedicated to training knowledgeable, compassionate nurses and nurse practitioners to meet the critical nursing shortage in West Texas and across the nation. For over 40 years, the School of Nursing has educated new nurses, strengthened the careers of experienced nurses, and prepared innovative nurses to become leaders in health care.

The Instructor and/or Assistant Professor in the Traditional Undergraduate program supports the mission of TTUHSC School of Nursing through excellence in teaching, service, and scholarly engagement. Faculty members in this role support the Traditional Undergraduate Program by delivering high-quality instruction in didactic or clinical, laboratory, simulation lab, and online settings, while participating in curriculum planning, academic advising, and professional development. Contributes to the program, school, and university committees associated with professional status.
