Providing strategic delivery leadership, the full-time CDC NBS Technical Lead will oversee Agile execution for the National Electronic Disease Surveillance System modernization portfolio, coordinating cross-team activities and ensuring alignment with CDC priorities in a fully remote environment.Key responsibilitiesLead strategic delivery across NBS modernization initiatives, ensuring alignment with CDC priorities and public health mission needsCoordinate delivery across multiple Agile teams, managing dependencies, risks, and resource constraints to support roadmap executionServe as Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies and promoting effective team execution and continuous deliveryRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Health Informatics, Engineering, Business, or related disciplineMinimum of five years of experience leading large-scale software development or health IT modernization programsExperience supporting CDC programs or federal public health modernization initiativesProfessional Scrum Master (PSM I or higher) or equivalent Agile delivery certificationDemonstrated experience leading delivery across multiple concurrent Agile teams and managing cross-team dependencies
