Summary
Supporting the VA's Office of Suicide Prevention, the full-time Evaluation Specialist Jr. will design and implement evaluation systems to measure the effectiveness of elevated risk care management programs for Veterans, utilizing mixed-methods approaches such as surveys and focus groups to drivedata-informed decision-making.Key responsibilitiesDesign and implement comprehensive evaluation systems to assess program effectiveness and outcomesConduct quantitative tracking and qualitative assessments to gather performance dataOversee the generation and dissemination of performance reports to VA program leadership and federal stakeholdersRequired qualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing program evaluation systemsBachelor's degree in Public Health, Psychology, Social Sciences, Health Policy, Research Methods, or a related fieldPrior experience supporting federal agency programs, preferably within VA or other federal healthcare contextsAbility to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credentialDemonstrated proficiency in developing data collection instruments and producing written evaluation reports for federal stakeholders
