Summary
CBRN Technical AnalystNoblis is hiring a CBRN Technical Analyst. This will be a full-time role located onsite at a Government facility in the National Capital Region (NCR). Responsibilities include:Design, implement, and maintain systems and processes to detect, prevent, and respond to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threats.Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential CBRN hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.Develop and implement protective measures, including containment systems, filtration systems, detection equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).Develop and maintain emergency response plans, procedures, and protocols for CBRN incidents.Provide technical expertise and support during CBRN preparedness, response, and recovery operations.Collaborate with government agencies, emergency responders, public health organizations, and other stakeholders to coordinate CBRN planning and response efforts.Evaluate, test, and recommend CBRN detection, monitoring, and decontamination technologies.Develop and deliver CBRN training and awareness programs to improve organizational preparedness.Ensure compliance with applicable CBRN regulations, standards, and safety requirements.Support efforts to protect personnel, critical infrastructure, assets, and the environment from CBRN hazards.Additionally, the Analyst shall provide the following support:Analysis of chemical agents and threat impactsResearch on CWA, TICs, and emerging threatsEvaluation of medical countermeasuresTesting and assessment of detection/protection systemsDevelopment of analytical methods and characterization toolsInfrastructure risk and vulnerability assessmentsTechnical reporting and incident response supportRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience. In lieu of a degree will also consider an Associates & 6 years of experience, or HS & 9 years of experience.Knowledge of chemical agent properties and detection methodsExperience with analytical instrumentation (e.g., GC-MS, FTIR)Familiarity with chemical safety and PPE standardsBackground in modeling/simulation of chemical threatsKnowledge of chemical weapons conventions and policiesProgramming for data analysis/visualizationMust be a US Citizen with a Top Secret Clearance & SCI eligibility.Desired Qualifications:Experience with Air Force A10 or similar missions
