Security Officer – Weekend First Shift (Gate & Patrol Officer)

KRE Security, LLC is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for a consistent Saturday and Sunday First shift assignment (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) in Philadelphia, PA. This is a permanent, non-rotating weekend schedule ideal for dependable individuals seeking stable part-time hours. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through gate control, patrol duties, and incident response.

Schedule:

• Saturday & Sunday
• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Consistent weekend schedule
• No rotating shifts
• Stable, permanent post assignment

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide a professional security presence at the assigned client site
• Monitor entrances and exits throughout the property
• Control access and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors
• Conduct routine patrols of the premises and surrounding areas
• Observe and report safety or security concerns
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies as needed
• Enforce post orders and client policies
• Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports using Belfry Software
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors, clients, and team members

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
• Ability to remain alert for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required
• Must pass a background check

• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Good judgment and situational awareness
• Reliability and punctual attendance
• Ability to follow post orders consistently

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting Pay: $16.00/hour
• Part-Time: 16–24 hours/week (weekends only)
• Overtime available when applicable by law
• Paid training provided
• 24 hours of PTO earned after probationary period (if eligible)
• Health benefits available for full-time employees (30+ hours/week) after 6 months
