Your work will help keep critical operations secure and connected across the global enterprise directly, contributing to a mission that protects our nation every day.As a Mobile Device Engineer supporting CIO Infrastructure Services (CIS), you design, engineer, and implement secure enterprise mobile device solutions that enable the global workforce to operate safely across multiple networks and security domains. You ensure mobile platforms remain compliant, accredited, up-to-date, and integrated seamlessly into the broader Enterprise IT Infrastructure (EII). Your work directly supports mobility, security, mission responsiveness, and modernization efforts across the DoDIIS enterprise.Key responsibilities include:Engineer, design, and implement secure enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and other mobility devicesEnsure mobile platforms meet all cybersecurity, configuration, and compliance requirements across the DoW, and IC environmentsIntegrate mobile solutions with enterprise authentication, identity, security, monitoring, and network servicesTest, validate, and document mobile device configurations, updates, and system changes prior to deploymentTroubleshoot and resolve advanced mobile device issues, including configuration, security control, certificate, and connectivity problemsSupport modernization efforts by evaluating and engineering emerging mobile technologies and capabilitiesMaintain security and compliance through patch deployment, vulnerability response, and ongoing monitoring of mobile device health and postureStay current with evolving mobile platforms, security requirements, and enterprise mobility best practicesWhat you'll need to succeed:Education: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, or 10+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degreeCertification: Meet DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements (e.g. Security+ CE, etc.)Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraphExperience engineering or administering MDM solutions within enterprise or DoW/IC environmentsStrong background in mobile security, authentication, compliance controls, and secure device configurationExperience supporting IATT/ATO activities and working within the Risk Management FrameworkProven ability to troubleshoot complex mobile devices, security, and connectivity issues across networks and platformsUS citizenship required
