Safety Sensitive Position
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Set up safe work zones with proper equipment.
- Communicate with your crew to keep everyone safe.
- Control traffic flow.
- Providing outstanding service and protection to customers
- Receive continuous development and guidance.
- Protect the company's employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices.
- Develop relationships with internal and external customers to achieve goals and new business opportunities.
- Become a subject matter expert in work zone setup/design and professional flagging.
- Setting up safe work zones with proper equipment
- Communicating with your crew to keep everyone safe.
- Controlling traffic flow
- Providing outstanding service and protection to customers
- Receiving continuous development and guidance
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an outdoor labor setting, i.e., Traffic Control, Landscaping, Manufacturing, Construction, Utilities, Military, or Skilled Operator
- 2+ Years Traffic Control Experience / ATSSA Certificate
- TMA Driver
- TCS Certification Preferred
- Familiarity with a client-based schedule
- Valid state driver's license
- Steel Toed or Composite Toed Boots
- Comfortable standing 8-12 hours a day
- Ability to lift 50-60 lbs.
- Accustomed to working in all types of weather, and in traffic.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including a drug test.
Additional Information
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid UT Driver's License with a motor vehicle report that meets company guidelines
- Must be able to read and write English
- Good Communication skills.
Competitive Hourly Pay: $18.50-19.25
