Major Duties

Under general supervision, the Project Coordinator coordinates student employee workflows, faculty and program activities, accessibility initiatives, project events, and administrative processes. The position supports communications, recruitment and onboarding, project reporting, fiscal activities, documentation, and tracking to advance university accessibility goals.

• Provides lead work direction and guidance to student employees.
• Serves as a primary point of contact for faculty and campus colleagues, responding to email, phone, and ticket inquiries and scheduling and coordinating meetings as needed.
• Coordinates administrative and operational activities supporting established digital content accessibility processes, including preparing, organizing, and maintaining documentation and resource materials for faculty content creators.
• Schedules and participates in grant-related meetings; processes travel; and coordinates project events and related logistics, including RSVPs, reservations, arrangements, and purchase processing.
• Provides administrative support for student recruitment and onboarding, including monitoring the recruitment platform, organizing applications, scheduling interviews, coordinating onboarding activities, and maintaining required HR and timekeeping documentation
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to five (5) years of full-time, progressively responsible administrative or technical office management experience in an administrative capacity exercising independent judgment and leading the work of others.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Equivalent to full-time college or university education/vocational school training in business or job-related field may be substituted for up to two (2) years of the required experience.
• Experience in a client-facing role and/or working with faculty, is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Strong project coordination and workflow tracking skills.
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities, deadlines, events, and administrative processes.
• Ability to provide effective work direction and guidance to student employees.
• Strong organizational, documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to support established accessibility processes and appropriately refer complex technical accessibility issues.
• Demonstrated ability to give attention to details in a rapidly-changing environment.
• Knowledge of ASL is preferred.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

• The university offers an excellent benefits package, including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, retirement & savings, tuition waiver, and more.
• Classification: 1035 / Admin Support Coord / Grade 2
• The anticipated part time equivalent of the HIRING RANGE is $3275 - $3616 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience. The part time equivalent of the salary range for this classification is: $3275- $4772 per month.
• HOURS: Part Time; 30 hours per week; Monday through Friday.
• This is a Temporary position; end date to be determined.
• The position is currently hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
