Part-Time Library & Learning Center Assistant
SALARY: $15.92 per hour

DEPARTMENT: Library and Tutoring Services
REPORTS TO: Director, Library and Tutoring Services
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports departmental activities and the daily operations of the Library and Learning Center to provide excellent customer services including front desk operations, circulation, and stack maintenance projects.
- Performs technical services, resource sharing, and/or digital library development using an integrated library system (ILS) and other related library software systems.
- Assists patrons with accessing computers, printing, other library technology and equipment, and study areas.
- Refers research and tutoring questions to appropriate staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong ability to confidently work with technology and troubleshoot
• Experience in customer service
• Experience working in a library
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
SCHEDULE: Up to 20 hours per week
Daytime and evening hours required
