Patrol Officer Lateral Transfer

ALL OTHER APPLICANTS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY REJECTED*** The City of Hamilton Police Department is recruiting for current certified law enforcement officers interested in the lateral transfer process. Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements will not be required to complete the National testing Network (NTN) test, or the initial pre-hire physical fitness exam. Eligibility requirements:
- Eligible candidates must have AT LEAST TWO (2) YEARS OF FULL-TIME EXPERIENCE as a sworn law enforcement officer with a recognized law enforcement agency.
- Eligible candidates must be CURRENT LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS with a recognized law enforcement agency.
- Eligible candidates must submit an application that includes ANY CERTIFICATIONS THEY HAVE EARNED TO DATE.
For this recruitment, the process shall include the following:
- Oral Board Interview
- Background Investigation
- Psychological Evaluation
- Medical Examination & Drug Screen
