The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, excellent report-writing abilities, and a proven track record of conducting thorough field investigations.As an SIU Investigator, you will conduct investigations into suspected fraudulent insurance claims through surveillance, interviews, evidence collection, background investigations, and fieldwork. You will evaluate claims for potential fraud, identify inconsistencies, and provide clear, detailed findings that support informed claim decisions. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently in the field, managing multiple investigations simultaneously, and producing professional reports that withstand scrutiny.Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive field and telephonic investigations involving suspected insurance fraudReview claim files to identify fraud indicators, inconsistencies, and investigative opportunitiesDevelop and execute investigative strategies on suspicious claimsConduct surveillance and document observations accuratelyObtain detailed recorded statements from claimants, witnesses, and involved partiesUtilize advanced interviewing and investigative techniques to gather critical informationCollect, evaluate, verify, and preserve evidence relevant to investigationsConduct background investigations and verify incident detailsResearch and analyze information from multiple public and proprietary sourcesPrepare detailed, accurate, and timely investigative reportsMaintain professional communication with clients, claims personnel, and internal team membersEnsure all investigations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standardsQualifications Must be located in Las Vegas or surrounding areaMinimum 2 years of private investigation experienceMinimum 1 year of SIU or insurance fraud investigation experienceStrong understanding of insurance claims and fraud investigation processesExperience conducting surveillance, interviews, and field investigationsExceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage a diverse caseloadStrong willingness to travel throughout the Las Vegas region and surrounding statesPreferred Qualifications Former Law Enforcement Officer, Detective, Investigator, or Special Investigations Unit experienceBackground in insurance fraud and claims investigationsExperience preparing investigative reports for legal, regulatory, or insurance purposesCompetitive compensation based on experience401(k)Health insurancePaid time offWhy Origin Investigations?
