Summary
Overview
Experienced or Credentialed Background Investigator - West Coast Region. This role supports CACI International Inc and contributes to national security by performing background investigations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive interviews with subjects, employers, associates, references, and other knowledgeable individuals; review records to obtain facts and resolve material issues in a case, establishing background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications. Document information and submit a detailed report of investigation within a strict timeline.
- TDY opportunity at locations across the U.S. for 2 or more weeks in duration.
- Work on multiple field investigation contracts as assigned.
What You'll Bring These Qualifications
- Customer credential or the ability to obtain based on National Training Standard certification and experience conducting background investigations.
- Proven quality, timeliness, and production metrics.
- Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of general experience with progressive responsibility in problem solving, planning and organizing work, and written/oral communication.
- Active Top Secret clearance (T5 Investigation) or the ability to obtain and maintain a favorable determination based on T5 Investigation.
- A sense of mission in support of national security initiatives; impeccable work ethic, integrity, and a can-do attitude.
- A current driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel locally on a daily basis as assigned; home office with high-speed Internet (monthly stipend provided).
- A personal computer compatible with Microsoft applications (e.g., Word and Excel).
- Ability to walk, type, sit, or stand for long periods; excellent time management and strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to produce detailed, extensive reports and present information clearly to varied audiences.

Pay Range
This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits meet or exceed the minimums in the wage determination for the work location. Because this position can be worked in multiple locations, the rate shown is the Minimum Wage for Federal Contractors; actual pay will depend on contract, location, and job classification.
Minimum Required Hourly Wage
$34.47
