Acquisition Specialist/AnalystBAI, a defense contractor, is seeking an Acquisition Specialist/Analyst with 3+ years of experience, for our expanding workforce to support development of program acquisition documentation, funding documents, mission requirements, and compliance, at Contractor and Government site(s) in Patuxent River, MD. and Norfolk, VA. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.ResponsibilitiesSupports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directivesSupports the development of program acquisition documentation such as: Acquisition Plans (Aps)Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASRs)Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs)Performance Work Statement (PWS)Funding DocumentsContract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)Acquisition Program Baseline Agreement (APBAs)Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirementsAttends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boardsQualifications3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional descriptionExcellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer, and organizational level communications, both formal and informalAbility to perform all functional duties independently, self-starter.Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; Microsoft Project 2016; and Adobe Acrobat (reader and pro).EDUCATION Degree: BA/BS degree.Allowable Substitution: Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree, or Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.CLEARANCE Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
