Summary
Salary Range: ($44,050 - $66,074)The Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority is accepting applications for the position of Traffic Enforcement Officer - Public Safety. This is a non-sworn position that involves traffic enforcement work to assist in regulating the safe movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic and to promote smooth traffic flow. The Traffic Enforcement Officer (TEO) serves as an ambassador for the department by regularly engaging with customers and the public, providing directions and guidance, assisting motorists, and maintaining a visible uniformed presence. The TEO conducts aviation worker inspections, vehicle inspections, visible patrols, parking enforcement and other duties to promote overall safety and security for the Authority. Duties include directing vehicular traffic and ensuring safety of pedestrians and property as well as issuing parking violations in accordance with appropriate statues and ordinances.Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and have high school diploma or GED.
