Ops Sr Section ManagerLocation: 4900 Tiedeman Road, Brooklyn OhioJob Summary The Ops Sr Section Manager leads a team of external fraud investigation professionals to ensure robust investigations to include risk mitigation evaluations and regulatory reporting requirements. The role includes managing teamwork, monitoring KPIs, and mitigating risk through strong knowledge of fraud and investigation typologies, procedures and controls, and tracking of KPIs and SLAs though available reporting and dashboards.Essential FunctionsLead and develop a team of approximately 12 check fraud investigators.Monitor productivity, quality, aging, and service-level metrics to ensure operational and regulatory goals are met.Assign workload and resources to balance capacity and meet deadlines.Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture, including use of established performance management protocols to address performance issues.Ensure investigations and Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) recommendations and reports are timely, accurate, and compliant with regulatory and internal requirements.Support audits, regulatory exams, quality review processes, and remediation efforts.Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.EducationBachelor's Degree (preferred)OR equivalent experience (required)Work Experience2+ years experience in fraud investigation leadership or equivalent (required)Financial services or regulated industry experience (required)Familiarity with regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial performance oversight (preferred)Actimize and ActOne experienceSkillsExperience leading fraud investigative, fraud, financial crimes, compliance, or risk management teams.Strong knowledge of fraud investigations, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.Extensive experience with the importance of meeting or exceeding established targets; ability to drive critical activities to completion.Proven ability to analyze complex issues, make sound decisions, and manage competing priorities.Effective communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with Actimize or other case management tools preferred.Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects, and people.Proficient computer skills with emphasis on MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.All KeyBank employees are expected to demonstrate Key's Values and abide by Key's Code of Conduct.Physical DemandsGeneral Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.Work Location CategoryHybrid On-site preference for Brooklyn, OH, Cleveland, OH or Columbus, OHCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
