We are taking a responsible approach to creating environments that allow us to do what we do best—provide healthcare and wellness.The purpose of the Juvenile Justice Clinician position is to act as a stabilizer and provide assessment, counseling and service linkage to youth at risk of becoming involved in the juvenile justice system and/or at risk of delinquency. This position provides individual, family and/or group therapy, life skills training, and educational & therapeutic group activities as defined by client need to 10-17-year-old youth within the program service area.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following and other duties may be assigned as needed.Daily Job Duties:Maintain an active caseload of 25-30 youth at risk of delinquency at a timeAttend any scheduled Clinical Team meetings within assigned area for purposes of ongoing program development related to clinical efficacy, case review/staffing, and professional developmentFacilitate groups for discretionary clients – at risk of delinquency within designated LANsEnsure all required intake documentation is complete and accurate.Responsible for maintaining active CCBYS client files with documents not exceeding more than 2 weeks past dueMonitor and supervise clients to ensure their safety and well-being during programming hours and transport.Assist Crisis Intervention Specialist with Juvenile Justice partner collaboration and outreachCollaborate with Reporting Center staff regarding participant referralsAll other duties as assignedTraining Requirements:Complete all Core Curriculum training(s) required for the position.Comply with IDHS program standards and requirements for CCBYSComply with the State of Illinois mandated reporting law.Complete all required Federal, Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) and Agency Core Curriculum and Mandated Reporter trainings, meetings and workshops as required.Complete all other trainings as assigned.Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive Pay $24.03-$25.48Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceDisability & Life InsurancePaid Vacation, Sick Days, and HolidaysRetirement PlanEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee Discounts on services like cell phones, restaurants, and moreEducation and/or ExperienceMaster's degree (MA/MS/MSW) required.
