Position Description The TTUHSC Department of Urology is dedicated to providing the highest standard of urologic care in a compassionate and thorough manner using the latest technology. We offer a comprehensive educational experience encompassing all fields of urology to provide our residents with the training to succeed in either academic or private practice.
Major/Essential Functions - Provide high-quality, comprehensive urologic care for patients;
- Diagnose and treat cancers of the urinary tract and reproductive system;
- Develop and implement treatment plans including screening, therapy and medications;
- Provide procedural and surgical care as needed;
- Coordinate care with referring provider and other specialists, if applicable;
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and procedures;
- Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation; and
- Participation in resident and medical student education
Occasional Duties
Required Qualifications - MD/DO or equivalent.
- Foreign Medical Graduates Only: ECFMG Certification OR Equivalency Certification.
- Completion of, or in the process of completing, an ACGME accredited Urology Residency.
- ABMS Board Eligible, in the process of becoming Board Eligible, or Board Certified in Urology.
