The Fleet Coordinator is a full benefited position with enrollment into the Kansas Public Employee Retirement System. We offer 8 weeks of Paid Parental Leave after one year of employment.

Pay Range: $54,101 - $61,819 based on qualifications

The Logistics and Fleet Coordinator II oversees the lifecycle management of Police Department fleet assets and equipment to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This position coordinates daily fleet and equipment activities, maintains accurate records, and supports procurement, replacement planning, and repair processes. The role also provides day-to-day oversight of part-time fleet staff.

Qualifications

Experience: Three years of experience in fleet operations, fleet maintenance, materials handling, or a related field is required.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications: A valid driver’s license and favorable driving record are required. A class B commercial driver's license is required within twelve months of hire.

Environmental or Physical Demands: The Logistics and Fleet Coordinator II works in both indoor and outdoor environments. Work may be performed in a vehicle maintenance facility and may involve exposure to dust, grease, noise, inclement weather, temperature extremes, and unpleasant odors. The position requires frequent entry into and exit from vehicles and regular use of computer screens and other electronic equipment. On rare occasions, the employee may be exposed to biohazardous materials, waste, or bodily fluids.
