Description

We are looking for motivated and caring individuals to provide counseling services to patients in a variety of settings. The chosen candidate will provide individual and group counseling in an outpatient setting for patients in the Charleston County Probate Court Adult Drug Court (ADC) Program. This position plays a critical role in serving the citizens of Charleston County seeking recovery from substance use disorders. Services include both individual and group counseling as well as case management.

Flexible work schedules are available in some instances and include potential remote work opportunities. This position consists of four 10-hour days (Mon. through Thurs) and working until 8pm each shift. Room for professional growth within the position including paid training opportunities, supervision hours toward obtaining an Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification, and engagement in interdisciplinary team meetings. Supervision may also be available for LPC, LAC or LISW licensing purposes at no cost (limited availability).

Starting salary is dependent upon education, experience, credentialing, and licensure.


Licensure and current Alcohol and other Drug Counselor certification will also be taken into consideration for additional percentage increases. Employees are subject to receive annual increases beginning after the first year of employment, contingent upon satisfactory appraisals and available funding.

HIRING SALARY: $21.66 - $25.60

Continuation of employment in this position is contingent upon availability of funding from service, program and agency earnings. OPEN UNTIL FILLED, APPLICATION REVIEW BEGINS IMMEDIATELY

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties: Clinical counseling duties include, but are not limited to:


* Meeting clinical productivity requirements.

* Delivering services within agency, federal, state, UCR and DHEC guidelines.
