Job Summary

The Greenville Recreation and Parks Department is currently recruiting pool attendants for the Greenville Outdoor Aquatic Center. This position will provide customer service, input data into Rec Trac systems, maintain a daily cash drawer, enforce facility rules, and provide First Aid/CPR as needed.

Minimum Age: 18 years old, as of May 24, 2025
Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour
Hours: 20-40 hours per week
Season: May - September 2025
Requirements:

• 1 year of customer service
• 1 year of data entry and computer skills
• 1 year of maintaining a balanced cash drawer
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification (preferred not required)

Work begins May 24, 2025, and ends Labor Day weekend. Training for the position will be required before May 24, 2025. CPR/First Aid/AED Certification (must obtain certification by May 24, 2025)

Examples of Duties

• Enforce pool rules;
• Oversee rentals & camp reservations;
• Accountable for tracking the number of patrons;
• Open and/or close and test chemicals at the spray park as needed;
• Trash removal;
• Enforce rules and height requirements for water slide;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Regular part-time, temporary, and seasonal employees are not eligible for benefits.
