Job Summary

The Greenville Recreation and Parks Department is currently recruiting Swim Instructors for the Greenville Aquatics and Fitness Center (which operates year-round) and the Greenville Outdoor Aquatic Center (which operates seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day). Swim Instructors will work with various instructional programs including group swim lessons, and private lessons. Instructors are responsible for class preparation, related paperwork, distributing swimmer achievements, and any other swimming program duties.

Minimum Age: 16 years old, at the time of application
Pay Rate: $14.75 an hour

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills required;
• Water Safety Instructor OR 2 years experience teaching swim lessons;
• Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid/AED certifications are preferred or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
