P.E. Preferred. Conditional waiver may be considered. Selected candidate would be required to obtain P.E. within 18 months after start date.

Note for internal applicants: Successful candidates already at rates above the posted salary will be evaluated on an individual basis to determine final salary outcome.

Job Location: Sikeston District Office.

Remote work options will be considered up to 2 days per week at alternate MoDOT facilities.

Selected candidate will report to Sikeston District Office 3 days per week.

Why you’ll love this position: The district utilities engineer is a supervisory role responsible for negotiating and preparing agreements with utility companies and municipalities in the relocation of utility structures or facilities for existing or planned highways, and for coordinating the relocation of the structures/facilities. Responsibilities are performed under general supervision.
