Job Location:- The office for this position is located at 920 Wildwood, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
- Candidates who complete a successful onboarding and training period may be eligible to work at an alternate location in compliance with OA-ITSD's Distributed Workforce Plan.

This Solution Architect position will provide technical/application support and direction of an extremely complex infrastructure specific to/and supporting the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) application suite. This position will conduct assessments of current and future application solutions and technologies, hardware, systems, and processes utilized within the DHSS portfolio. This position will be responsible for analyzing DHSS customer needs and requirements through strategic discovery, utilizing technical thought, and leadership, discussing industry best practices, and then delivering a technical solution that meets or exceeds the business need. Communicate technology strategy to leaders and knowledge to workers via road-maps, conceptual diagrams, and solution documents.
This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS).

- Position will need to analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, network, and operating system environment.
- Work with portfolio stakeholders, customers, Enterprise Architects, System Engineers, and development teams to align the architectural direction.
- DHSS is moving toward more applications to the Cloud, and support of infrastructure is needed.
- Complete annual training as defined by ITSD.
