Pay Range: $22.50/hr

Workdays & Hours: Position is required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Multiple Pool/Lifeguard Manager jobs are available with the City of Fort Worth Park & Recreation Department - Aquatics Division at Forest Park and Marine pools. The Park & Recreations Department is seeking professional individuals with a background in pool operations. The Pool Manager is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and safety for staff and patrons. Limited off-season hours available.
This Position qualifies for the following incentives which is separate from the base pay: - Completion of Assignment Pay. You can earn up to a $300 incentive pay, which is based on the amount of days worked while on assignment.
Minimum Qualifications: - Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older by May1, 2025
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain (prior to May 15th) an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
- Uniforms Provided.
Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of general mechanical operations of a swimming pool.
- Competent in water safety management; rescue techniques; cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); first aid applications.
- Experience working at a municipal swimming pool.
The Lifeguard Pool Manager job responsibilities include: - Cash handling.
- Personnel management.
- Facility management.
- Water chemistry management.
