Description:

The District Court Deputy District Attorney (DDA) carries out the charges and obligations of the District Attorney and represents the People of the State of Colorado on felony cases in Jefferson and Gilpin counties. Develops a felony caseload from initial arrest to trial and sentencing. Collaborates with victims, law enforcement, attorneys, and district attorney staff to achieve just outcomes, further the goals of the District Attorney, and fulfill all statutory, constitutional, and ethical obligations of a prosecutor.

The current opening is in the Intake Unit.

SCHEDULE:

This position allows for hybrid work, with in-office and remote work as determined by business needs.

COMPENSATION:

The hiring range is $106,000 - $133,000 for District Court DDAs and $127,000 - $170,000 for Senior DDAs. District Court DDAs have less than eight years relevant experience and Senior DDAs have more than eight years relevant experience. This position will be a District Court DDA or Senior DDA depending on experience.
