Job Location: This position will be located at Central office Roberts building 1706 E Elm Street Jefferson City, MO 65109.Why you’ll love this position:
The Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), Division of Behavioral Health (DBH), seeks an Intermediate Accountant.
The successful incumbent will:
- Enter, transfer, reconcile and track DBH contracted provider allocations in Customer Information Management, Outcomes and Reporting (CIMOR) and the Claims Validation System (CVS).
- Prepare and process all DBH billing reviews and Missouri Medicaid Audit and Compliance (MMAC) audit recoupments for DBH contracted providers.
- Coordinate with data team to create reports to monitor provider payments.
- Develop and prepare provider correspondence to DBH contracted providers in reference to their allocations and/or billing issues.
- Create reports for billing cycle cutoffs.
- Communicate with providers regarding CIMOR/CVS billing questions and issues.
- Process contracted provider invoices.
- Respond to CIMOR/CVS help desk tickets for DBH contracted providers allocations/billings.
- Assistance in fiscal year end rollover of DBH contracted provider allocations in the DBH billing systems.
- Assist with grant processing.
- Liaison with MMAC for DBH contracted provider information.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Experience using a Microsoft Windows Operating System.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
