What You'll Be DoingAre you a compassionate and experienced nursing leader passionate about advancing women’s health? We’re seeking a
Nurse Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at our
Women’s Health Clinic. This role combines hands-on clinical care with meaningful leadership-ensuring high-quality, patient-centered services while mentoring a dedicated team.
As the Nurse Supervisor you'll:
- Oversee daily clinic operations and provide strong, solution-focused leadership to clinical staff
- Coordinate staff scheduling, problem-solve in real time, and maintain smooth clinic workflow
- Audit medical records for accuracy and compliance with established quality standards
- Ensure the clinic meets accreditation benchmarks by implementing effective work plans, supporting continuing education, and leading new employee onboarding
- Monitor and adjust care plans to ensure they meet the unique needs of each patient within the clinical specialty
- Deliver direct, compassionate care to clients within the Women’s Health program
- Lead and participate in Quality Improvement initiatives across the agency
- Conduct performance reviews, assign responsibilities, and help staff grow professionally
- Collaborate on the annual review and update of clinic protocols to align with best practices and regulations
- Uphold standards set by the NC Board of Nursing, the NC Women’s Health Branch, and WCHHS mandates
- Play an active role in recruiting and hiring nursing team members
- Represent the clinic in community outreach efforts and contribute to agency-wide committees

The Basics (Required Education and Experience) - Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Two years of experience as a nurse
- North Carolina Board of Nursing Licensed Registered Nurse
- CPR
- AED
- Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience) - Knowledge of family planning / Women's Health
- Experience in a private OBGYN practice
- Conversant in Spanish
- Experience in management
