Position Description
A job involving an appointment for infrequent temporary work where the employee is called in as needed.

Major/Essential Functions

• Answers all incoming calls from the multi-line phone system.
• Accurately registers, schedules, cancels, and reschedules appointments as needed.
• Obtain and/or verify insurance information.
• Complete proper documentation at each visit.
• Responsible for cash and making change, posting charges, and payments, and creating invoices.
• Communicate effectively with all departments and patients.
• Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.

Required Qualifications
A High School diploma or GED. 1-year Customer Service, office, or related experience. Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement.
