Description

South Adams County Water & Sanitationis dedicated to providing reliable, affordable, and sustainable water resources and services in order to protect public health, the environment, and quality of life,is seeking a qualified individual on our Development Review team as a Foreman.

The working Foreman:

• Provides oversight, scheduling, coordination, direction and training to members of the development field team
• Performs pre-construction utility coordination
• Assists in reviewing development/construction plans, service applications for future projects and improvements to the District’s water distribution and wastewater collection systems
• Conducts project walk-throughs to ensure proper construction and protection of the District’s systems
• Performs inspections and locates

Qualified candidates should have:

• High School Diploma OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid, current Colorado Driver’s License
• A minimum of eight (8) years of water or wastewater utility system, construction project experience or related field.
• Lead or supervisory experience helpful
• Advanced knowledge on water/wastewater systems construction practices and design specifications and construction standards
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office
• Solid problem solving and communication skills
• Solid ability to adapt to changing priorities, procedures, conditions and circumstances
• Ability to work in a variety of locations, terrains and conditions

Successful candidates will be required to complete a drug screen and background check prior to employment.

The District offers a salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Salary Range $33.01 - 49.53/hr
