This position is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the Missouri Lottery’s events. This entails the planning of each element for the Lottery’s presence at industry tradeshows and conferences, internal team meetings and trainings, and other onsite events.

Elements include concept, procedures, contract negotiations, product and promotional offerings, location, staff scheduling and all other necessary event components. Communicate with all departments to ensure event plans and responsibilities are prepared and executed . Maintain and develop statewide retailer programs for the Sales team to conduct promotions that support statewide initiatives. Continually evaluate the effectiveness of the various components of the program to ensure optimization of promotional budget, materials, emphasis and resources. Evaluate, prepare and present analysis to demonstrate the effectiveness of the promotional objectives. Assist in managing the statewide inventory tracking system for consumables, supplies and promotional items. Facilitate ordering process, including the research and recommendation of promotional items in support of sales growth. Proactively manage inventory and recommend strategies to optimize. Assist in coordinating and supporting the Lottery’s Sales recognition program. In addition, coordinate the planning of special project work as needed. Applicant must be proficient in Word and Excel. Overnight travel is required, approximately twice per month. Some events may require evening and weekend hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two or more years of relevant experience in Business or Public Administration, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Data Analysis, or a related field. Additional years of experience can substitute for education. Project Management experience preferred.

Successful candidate must be able to pass an extensive background check.
