Description

Summary

Oversees two or more employees in the Utility Billing department. The daily operations of the Utility Billing include handling customer concerns and questions which have escalated above the clerk’s ability to resolve.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises two or more employees in the Utility Billing. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a utility billing environment.
