Position Description
Performs administrative and coordinative work in direct support of an academic officer, including such functions as planning, budgeting, supervision and program implementation and evaluation. Performs responsible and complex office support duties, thus relieving the administrator of these duties. Work is performed under administrative supervision with evaluation based on results obtained.

Major/Essential Functions

• Answer the phone and respond to inquiries.
• Perform administrative support such as general correspondence, scheduling, recording minutes, and assisting at meetings and special events.
• Maintain office inventory/purchases and provide oversight for inventory reporting.
• Budget management and preparation for the office.
• Organize travel arrangements for individuals supported by the Office of Academic Affairs/Curriculum.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related area plus three years progressively responsible administrative experience, including one year of supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or experience to equal seven years.
