ABOUT THE POSITION

The IST Enterprise Team is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with a strong customer service mindset to serve as an expert in supporting County enterprise solutions, primarily in user roles and document workflow. Current solutions include Tyler EERP by Munis and Tyler Time and Attendance.

This assignment combines elements of Help Desk support, Finance and Payroll, Business Analysis and Enterprise Technology. This is a great opportunity for candidates with backgrounds in any of these areas to further develop their skills in a collaborative public sector environment.

This position will:

As the technical specialist level in the Systems Engineer series, the Senior Systems Engineer perform a wide variety of duties related to complex technical assignments with some direction and can exercise independent judgment in their work.

Remote Work Options: Some duties for this position may be performed remotely and options for a hybrid (telework/onsite) work schedule are available. However, the successful candidate must be able to report to County facilities at least 3 days a week and any other meeting or assignments as needed.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate has a strong background in administering user permissions, document workflow and enterprise systems, with a preference for experience in Tyler EERP by Munis. Strong decision-making, planning, and solid foundation in business analysis are essential. This candidate excels at clearly communicating complex concepts, both verbally and in writing, to diverse groups at all levels within the organization. A focus on process improvement, the ability to translate functional needs into technical specifications, and a solutions-oriented mindset are key attributes. This candidate is adaptable to change and demonstrates creative thinking in addressing challenges.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any six-year combination of recent professional experience and/or relevant computer science coursework that demonstrates the necessary knowledge and abilities. A typical way of achieving these requirements would be graduation with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in computer science or a related field. Please note:
