The successful candidate will manage, coordinate, and direct the Field Operations Division in all administrative and field operations and projects such as road construction/maintenance, asphalt paving/repair, grounds/landscaping, and stormwater maintenance responsibilities.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $95,804 to $107,889 (Estimated Annual Salary)

Duties and Responsibilities



Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field is required.

Minimum Qualification: 7 to 10 years or more of progressively responsible experience in a related field to include 5+ years managing maintenance and/or construction activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Substantial drainage and sedimentation control techniques; heavy roadway construction principles and practices; underground utility and pipe installation techniques; prefabricated/preformed bridge installation and repair; an understanding of environmental regulations and best management practices required by State and Federal regulatory agencies; landscaping and turf grasses maintenance and installation; soil mechanics as related to construction activities; engineering and surveying principles; knowledge of the capabilities of various pieces of construction equipment; asphalt and concrete applications and installation; borrow pit operations. Skilled in training, evaluating, and coordinating the training of others; skilled in Microsoft Office e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; able to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines. Must possess leadership and organizational skills as well as excellent communication skills. A valid South Carolina Driver’s License is required.
