ABOUT THE POSITION

The Clark County Finance Department is looking for motivated and qualified candidates to join our team as a Financial Analyst I/II within the Budget and Financial Planning Division. As a Financial Analyst I/II, you’ll work closely with departments across the County to help plan and manage financial resources that directly support essential public services. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience developing and monitoring budgets, maintaining financial systems, conducting fiscal analysis and modeling, and growing professionally as part of a collaborative, supportive team.

Financial Analyst I: $30.32 - $47.03 Hourly
Financial Analyst II: $32.74 - $50.81 Hourly


The Financial Analyst I is a training underfill position, upon successful completion of the training program the successful candidate will be non-competitively promoted to Financial Analyst II.

This examination will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months at either level or may be extended as needed by Human Resources.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

Financial Analyst I - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field. Experience in a public agency setting and/or an appropriate advanced degree desirable.

Financial Analyst II - In addition to the above: Two (2) years of full-time professional experience in budget development and administration and/or cost and revenue projection and control.
