The State of Missouri is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented ServiceNow CMDB/ITOM/Service Mapping Administration Technician position to join our IT operations team. In this entry-level role, you will support the maintenance and accuracy of our ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB). You will also assist in IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Service Mapping activities.

Successful candidates will learn the administration of the ServiceNow platform as well as general server administration. Candidates will routinely work on request and incident tickets, assist in the configuration and management of ServiceNow, integrate with various systems, build out various policies to keep the CMDB and ITOM discovery running efficiently and accurately. Successful candidates should take pride in expanding their capabilities, proactively research new technologies and features to improve the CMDB and ITOM applications, enjoy solving complicated problems, and be able to work collaboratively in a team.

Authorization to work in the United States is a prerequisite of employment. The Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting Enterprise IT Operations (EIT)..

Knowledge of operating systems and applications. Knowledge of cybersecurity issues and preventative methods. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software. Ability to research, collect, and analyze network performance.
