Position DescriptionCoordinates a section in a department that has institutional oversight responsibilities. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program or departmental project as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and/or students.
Major/Essential Functions- Oversee all operations of the TTUHSC Vitals Spirit Shop to include staffing, maintaining and managing inventory, payment processing, purchasing and displays.
- Oversee all operations of the TTUHSC online Vitals Spirit Shop to include keeping inventory up to date, online sales and shipping.
- Develop a growth and promotion plan for the Vitals Spirit Shop to increase traffic and sales.
- Plan and execute Vitals Spirit Shop events and monthly promotional events.
- Plan, prepare and travel to set up Pop Up Vitals Spirit Shop at TTUHSC campuses and graduations. Secure inventory, venues, and organize the team for travel.
- Maintain and monitor all social media sites.
- Maintain & service Coca Coca-Cola drink station, snack station and coffee station. Maintain perishable
inventory. - Provide weekly/monthly analytics regarding Vitals Spirit Shop production.
- Help with press conferences and community events involving the Office of External Relations.
- Create, order and distribute inventory and promotional items.
- Collaborate with the Visitor Center Director to develop a strategic plan to expand markets and promote Vitals to all TTUHSC campuses.
- Develop on-trend apparel, keeping abreast of market trends and working closely with the graphic designer and the rest of the creative team.
- Establish and maintain rapport with both apparel and promotional item vendors.
- Collaborate with the Visitor Center Director in setting and monitoring the store budget and setting sales goals.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal six (6) years.
