Job Summary: This position performs a variety of assigned and independent professional administrative, financial analysis, and programmatic duties. Coordination and implementation of a variety of Airport projects, programs, as well as Stakeholder and Airport Commission meetings. Conducts quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial business operations analysis. Work requires the exercise of discretion in performing daily activities based on a complete knowledge of administrative policies, procedures, and operations. This position prepares and may present high level presentations and other materials for varied end users, including outside departments, leadership, and the Airport Commission and City Council. May act as a lead or first-level supervisor.
The salary range for this position is
$66,973.92 - $90,414.90 per year, with a hiring range of
$66,973.92 - $78,694.41, depending on qualifications and experience.

Northern Colorado Regional Airport (FNL) is certificated 139 facility with a full security program with the presence of the TSA screening of passenger’s carry-on and checked baggage. FNL is the 5 th busiest airport in Colorado with exciting growth opportunities in its very bright future of development.
The airport is investing heavily in its infrastructure including a new 19,000 square foot terminal building with three gate parking spots and the widening of our primary runway project in2026 with the intent of drawing scheduled commercial service. The Airport is currently seeking a goal orientated person with attention to detail to join its dynamic team as a Administrative Program Manager.
FNL is scheduled to modernize its governance model by transitioning to an airport Authority in 2027. This new governance model will streamlining our public process and enhance our nimbleness to respond to new and emerging market opportunities.

Essential Functions: - Assist the Airport Director in implementing departmental goals, policies and procedures, monitor effectiveness, and make revisions and recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare and possibly present presentations for internal and public stakeholder meetings, including Commission and City Council, coordinate community and outreach surveys.
- Provide front-line response to public and internal inquiries regarding department activities, programs, policies, procedures, and projects over the phone, in person and through written correspondence; or directs inquiries to the appropriate staff.
- Assist Airport Director and airport staff with the research and development of reports, special projects, and assignments including participation in on-going department projects.
- Assist in development and improvement of databases, reporting, website, and monitoring systems.
- Provide support for the department including schedule meetings, maintain files, and create meeting agendas and notes.
- Develop, collaborate and maintain excellent working relationships with Finance staff, City Departments, business representatives, government officials and the public.
- Participate in Airport leadership team meetings, takes notes, and prepares agendas.
- Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements and reports.
- Completes ad hoc reporting needs with little supervision. May be responsible for presentation of results to end users, from Citizens to City Council.
- Coordinate and manage updates to City and Airport Strategic Plans.
- Assist with deadline expectations and agenda submissions for applicable City Council items impacting the department operations and budget.
- Monitor Department internal budget and assist Divisions with expense planning. Notify Airport Director of budget issues in timely fashion.
- Organize, facilitate, and prepare agendas for Airport Commission meetings. Attend meetings and assist Chairperson with meeting logistics.
- Assist Airport Director with production of Department’s annual budget plan.
- Perform analysis of materials submitted from outside and internal contributors under minimal supervision to determine process schedules and assist appropriate staff with task completion.
Other Job Functions: - Serve as the Department’s liaison to City’s committees as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Level and Management Expectations: Qualifications: Education: - Required: 4 Year/Bachelors Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related.
Experience: - Required: 2 Years progressively responsible experience applicable to analysis, long-range planning, project management, and a general accounting knowledge. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Preferred: Some experience in preparing presentations, meeting agendas and minutes is highly desirable.
Certifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and communicate them effectively to third parties.
- Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Handle multiple concurrent tasks and interruptions. Ability to occasionally travel away from the primary office area for meetings and delivery of information.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of public administration.
- Understanding of budget, finance and analysis.
- Considerable knowledge of sources of information related to problems of local government.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports, memoranda, directives, and letters.
- Ability to create presentations across multiple software applications that present complex issues in a clear and efficient manner.
- Able to deliver clear and concise presentations to a wide group of end users, including Citizens Commission members and local government elected officials.
- Ability to accomplish assigned administrative tasks with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain satisfactory work relations with department directors and the public.
- Ability to coordinate the work of multiple staff/work groups and ensure adherence to planned deadlines for projects.
- Prioritize tasks in a dynamic manner that ensures issues are addressed timely
Physical Demands and Working Conditions: - Frequent: Minimal physical effort typically found in clerical work. Primarily sedentary, may occasionally lift and carry light objects. Walking and/or standing as needed and minimal.
Working Environment: - Frequent: Exposure to routine office noise and equipment.
- Occasional: Exposure to hazards typically found in general office environments where there is rarely to no exposure to injury or accident.
