The City of Waco is seeking an experience and proactive Environmental Compliance Manager to ensure our operations align with all applicable environmental laws and internal standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Position Overview
The Environmental Compliance Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight for the City of Waco’s environmental programs within the Infrastructure Services Department. This position manages regulatory compliance efforts related to industrial pretreatment, stormwater (MS4), and environmental laboratory operations to ensure the protection of public health and the environment, as well as adherence to applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

This position supervises the Pretreatment compliance Supervisor, Stormwater Compliance Supervisor, and Utilities Laboratory Supervisor, guiding their teams in implementing, monitoring, inspection, permitting, enforcement, and reporting activities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, oversees program audits and renewals, and ensures all environmental programs operate with consistency, defensibility, and technical excellence.
