Position Description
The Managing Director of the F. Marie Hall Institute for Rural and Community Health (FMHIRCH) provides strategic and operational leadership across a broad portfolio of initiatives focused on improving health access and outcomes in rural and underserved communities throughout TTUHSC's service region. Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Rural and Community Affairs, this role serves as a key member of the Rural Affairs leadership team and plays a vital role in aligning the Institute's operations with the broader goals of the Division. Plans and directs the overall operation of a complex area/department and provides leadership for staff members. Under executive direction, performs highly varied administrative duties involving the use of independent judgment and professional skills. Responsible for all employees assigned to area.

Major/Essential Functions


Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. Seven years of progressively responsible management experience are required. Education beyond the bachelor's level may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.
