Job Description Hazmat Instructor $5,833.34 per month 1 PositionCollege Station, TexasThe Role at a GlanceThe Instructor conducts, develops, and revises the hazmat training courses and assists other instructors or programs as needed. Develops and updates training aids, audio/visual pieces, student materials, and lesson plans. Expected to assist with maintenance and inventory of course equipment and interact with clients and staff in a positive and professional manner.
This position reports to the Training Coordinator.
Qualifications of the Role - High School Diploma or GED.
- Four years of experience in hazmat related field and experience in developing & delivering emergency response training.
- One year of experience in adult education and/or training.
- Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Must have a valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment.
- Must have a valid passport or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment.
