This position will manage the radiation detection instrument program for Missouri State Emergency Management Agency, ensuring all radiation detection instruments are tested, tracked, and distributed to risk counties surrounding Callaway Energy Center, Missouri and Cooper Nuclear Station in Nebraska. The position will travel Missouri counties testing equipment used to detect radiation and conduct routine maintenance of all equipment and will serve as part of the Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) team assisting with plan development, training and participating in required drills.

On the job training will be provided for skills that are unique to this position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



Typical Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or four years or more of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
