Consider joining the Missouri Army National Guard as an Environmental Program Specialist! The Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) oversees all construction, maintenance, and upkeep for all of the MOARNG facilities across the state, which totals over 60 sites and thousands of individual assets. As a CFMO Environmental Program Specialist, you will work with our Master Planning team to conduct data analysis on energy and water usage rates, develop new projects, and secure federal funding for energy and utility projects and for the Missouri Army National Guard.

Job Location: This position will be located at Ike Skelton Training Site, Jefferson City, MO.

You will recommend, develop, coordinate, and implement the update and/or construction of all energy related projects across the state of Missouri. You will perform technical energy and water usage analysis for Missouri Army National Guard facilities to include energy audits, water usage audits, and rate structure analysis. You will enter utility data in tracking systems and perform data analysis on the data to develop new projects or policies.

We are looking for a detailed oriented person with practical experience in resources management, energy or utility management, or other comparable experience.

The position may be initially filled at a lower graded position dependent on the qualifications of the applicant. The target position is the Environmental Program Specialist grade

Requirements for all Grades:

• Ability to work independently

• Valid State Driver’s License

• Be able to pass a background check qualifying receipt of a Common Access Card (CAC).

Environmental Program Assistant Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 0-1 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed.)

Environmental Program Analyst Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed.) OR 2 - 4 years as an Environmental Program Assistant

Environmental Program Specialist Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed. OR 4 - 6 years as an Environmental Program Specialist
