public sector accounting, finance, contract administration, and transportation grant administration professionals to bring their skill, energy and expertise to support the
Office of Transportation (OOT) as the
Senior Management Analyst. In this role, you will serve the public and help achieve transportation efficiency and sustainability goals by:
- Developing transportation operating and capital budgets, preparing forecasts, monitoring expenditures and administering contracts using finance software and technologies;
- Administering complex local, state and federal transportation grants or cost sharing agreements including reporting compliance, reimbursements, and maintaining good standing with public and private funding partners;
- Strategizing, developing and supporting modern parking enterprise arrangements and technologies;
- Leading and managing one to two administrative staff including coaching, training, evaluation and, if needed, discipline;
- Overseeing organizational improvements and administrative initiatives; and
- Collaborating with team members to get things done and serve diverse internal and external customers.

HERE. (Download PDF reader)Essential Duties Essential duties include the following major duties and responsibilities: - Preparing and overseeing the Office of Transportation’s annual budget submittal.
- Supervising administrative staff including collaborating, prioritizing and assigning work; coaching and evaluating performance; empowering and ensuring staff are trained; and making hiring, termination and disciplinary recommendations.
- Analyzing project and policy outcomes by conducting research; identifying and raising issues; summarizing findings; presenting results; and administering programs.
- Managing and supporting complex high-level special studies and projects related to contract administration; establishing and monitoring timelines; preparing requests for proposals; selecting consultants; ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, specifications, and/or requirements; monitoring project budgets; tracking projects; preparing related reports; and, other related duties.
- Serving as a liaison across departments as well as with employees and representing the City at a variety of meetings, public events, training sessions, on committees, and other related events.

Minimum Qualifications Sufficient education, training and/or work experience to demonstrate possession of the following knowledge and skills, which would typically be acquired through:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and five years of professional experience in public or business administration, public affairs, or a related field; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Postgraduate coursework or a Master's Degree is preferred.
