Mohave County Treasurer's Office is currently looking to fill a Treasury Creditron Technician position within the series below.
Treasury Creditron Technician I -> Starting Salary - Range 8, $16.53 Treasury Creditron Technician II -> Starting Salary - Range 10, $18.22 Treasury Creditron Technician III -> Starting Salary - Range 12, $20.09
This position is autonomous, requiring the incumbent to be able to motivate themselves and manage a heavy influx of mail during peak tax times. Will need to be able to make independent decisions and some mechanical experience helpful to fix minor issues with the machines. This position has a Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm work schedule.
Essential Job Functions
Operates Creditron/Opex Rapid extraction desk AS7200 to open, sort, scan payment stubs, Image Data Correction (IDC).
Key Operator on payment remittance-processing machines and analyzes data to ensure accuracy.
Maintains, with relative independence completion of assigned tasks accurately and in maintaining standard correspondence, files, and reports of assigned area.
Meets the public and receives phone calls. Responds to questions concerning department procedures or directs query to an individual or department as appropriate while providing excellent customer service.
Assist wherever needed to perform duties of department.
Maintains filing systems and indexing and cross-referencing systems assigned area.
Gathers and prepares materials for special reports, forms, policy formulation and summaries at the request of superiors.
Checks frequently against a variety of records in order to secure complete and accurate information.
Maintains a higher level of confidentiality.
Communicates and acts in professional manner with the public, co-workers, and work contacts.
Prepares daily tabulations and reports of cash receipts.
Distributes receipts to proper funds following established routines.
Keeps and controls books for subsidiary and operating funds.
Maintains and establishes fiscal records in accordance with established procedures.
Prepares Daily Work and Creditron worksheets in Excel.
Performs research for assigned area.
Establishes work procedures and priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
T reasury Creditron Technician I:
High School Diploma/GED (General Education Degree).
Minimum of Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative support experience.
OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered in meeting the minimum qualifications.
Treasury Creditron Technician II:
High School Diploma/GED (General Education Degree).
Minimum of Four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative support experience.
OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered in meeting the minimum qualifications.
Treasury Creditron Technician III:
High School Diploma/GED (General Education Degree).
Minimum of Five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative support experience.
One (1) year accounting/bookkeeping and working with Creditron.
OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered in meeting the minimum qualifications.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Procedures, terminology, equipment accepted or common practices, and policies.
