What You'll Be Doing

Wake County Government is seeking an experienced and highly organized Leave & Disability Administrator to lead the administration of employee leave and accommodation programs across all departments. This position will oversee a broad portfolio of leave types - including FMLA, Military Leave, Family Illness Leave, Parental Leave, Wellness Leave, Leave Without Pay (LWOP), and ADA accommodations.

The Administrator will ensure Wake County’s leave policies are administered consistently, efficiently, and in compliance with federal and state regulations. This role is critical in supporting employee well-being, operational continuity, and organizational compliance. Reporting to the Deputy Human Resources Director, this position plays a key role in shaping the employee experience within Wake County Government.

Hiring Range: 75,108 - 105,155

Market Range: 75,108.00 - 135,202.00

Emergency Service Worker Statement
