Classification Title: Administrator II

MPP employees serve at the pleasure of the campus President. MPPs do not serve a probationary period and never receive permanent status.

Position Salary Range: $9,740 - $14.609 per month

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $11,700 - $12,100 per month.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

About the Department/Position:

Under the general direction of the Vice President and CDEIO, the Executive Director serves as a senior leader and the principal deputy to the VP & CDEIO, entrusted with transforming CSUDH’s inclusive excellence vision into measurable, systemic, and sustainable outcomes. This role requires advanced knowledge and experience in DEI initiative development, institutional implementation, and impact assessment. The incumbent will lead high-visibility university-wide initiatives and represent the VP & CDEIO in their absence.

In this highly specialized role, the Executive Director serves as a thought partner and proxy for the VP in strategic planning forums, cross-divisional collaborations, and external engagements. They will champion the institutionalization of DEIJ priorities through campus-wide education, stakeholder engagement, and outcome-driven assessment, ensuring DEIJ efforts evolve from compliance-centered to innovation-led.
